The recent International Women’s Day commemorated women around the world. Many local groups are at the forefront of helping gender equality become a reality across the globe. One such charitable organisation is Judge Little Love Lots. Through their ‘The Gift’ program they are helping women and girls regain their confidence and control of their lives.
Their ‘Restore their Confidence’ project provides girls in Tanzania with sanitary napkins, enabling them to attend school and reduce their need to be absent from school as a result of not being able to afford these basic human needs and rights.
Their ‘S.T.E.M.M.’ project allows young mothers in Australia to engage in learning pathways leading them to certified outcomes. The girls develop life skills, parenting, self-worth, healthy relationships, pre and post-birth plans as well as physical and emotional well-being in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
